Mr. Christopher Land, Program Director

Mr. Christopher Land has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers across the nation as a business, technical, and educational trainer. Mr. Land's uncanny marketing skills combined with his research and programmatic thinking has made him an integral part of Dream Builders Communication, Inc. (DBC)

Christopher Land was raised in Charlotte, NC, and then pursued his Computer Information Systems degree at DeVry University in Atlanta, GA. He has over fifteen years of technical experience, countless certifications, and corporate training expertise. Two decades of coaching and educational training experience on multiple platforms have lead to Mr. Land’s success. Mr. Land was rated Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) top technical trainer on multiple occasions. He has assisted in developing specific techniques and programs that have been proven to increase personal performance. Through Mr. Land's involvement in mentoring, and "mind-set" coaching, he was awarded the "Jewel in the Crown of the Queen City" of Charlotte, NC. Mr. Land continues to be selected to serve on national diversity forums, citywide committees, and countless symposiums.

Ms. Tonya Allen, Program Director

Capitalizing on her strengths and talents, Ms. Tonya Allen is primary driving force behind DBC. After numerous years of success, Ms. Allen fulfilled her passion and her dreams by joining one of the most sought out speaking and training firms in the United States (DBC). Ms. Allen continues to impact the lives of people as a mentor, empowerment coach and as an inspirational instructor. Ms. Allen’s belief and motto is that:

“The Best Is Within, All One Has To Do Is Tap Into It and Believe”.

Ms. Allen is the author of "Stages of Womanhood" and co-author of several others books. "Stages of Womanhood" is not just for women, but also for anyone who truly wishes to gain knowledge and wisdom in self and understanding people by identifying what “Stage” they are currently embarking upon in life.

Ms. Allen received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg, MS, in the areas of Education and Psychology. Ms. Allen is a native of Meridian, Mississippi and the proud mother of one Jade Robinson.

Mr. K. L. Alston

Mr. K. L. Alston is a Best Selling Author, Certified Master Coach, Certified NLP Practitioner, Master Trainer and Motivational Speaker. He is a native of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Wesleyan University in Business Management, a Master of Arts degree from Webster University in Information Technology Management with an emphasis in Leadership and Communication, and is currently completing his Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with a specialization in Information Systems Management at Walden University.

He is the founder of K.L. Alston Enterprises; a company which he started with the sole purpose of providing products and services that promote successful personal achievement and organizational success. He is a highly sought after empowerment and motivational speaker and delivers keynotes and conducts training workshops for organizations including, but not limited to, Major Corporations, Non-Profit Organizations, Educational Institutions (Elementary, Middle, High and Colleges & Universities), Faith-Based Organizations and Small Businesses.

He is the creator of the, “Your Mindset; Your Environment; Your Future”™ Leadership Training Program which is a program designed to create holistic success and the “FDFS - Success Flow Quadrant”™ System which is a system that is designed to transition individuals from Fear to Security.

Dr. Aaron Keith McCullough

Dr. Aaron Keith McCullough holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from North Carolina State University (NCSU). He completed a portion of his graduate studies at North Carolina A&T State University where he received a Master’s of Science degree in Adult Education. He has also received his Doctorial of Philosophy in Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. McCullough has worked as Director of the Student Support Services Program, Project Director for the Financial Literacy Initiative, Associate Director for the Center for Distance Learning-Extension Programs, and the Project Coordinator for the School of Nursing’s, Family Life Empowerment Center/Family and Community Violence Prevention Program on the secondary educational level. Dr. McCullough also has been employed by the University of North Carolina as the Interim Associate Director for the North Carolina Health Careers Access Program, as well as by the Housing Authority of the City of High Point as the Director for Youth Services.

Dr. McCullough also has several years of teaching experience in the public schools as well as in higher education. Now with Dream Builders Communication, Inc., Dr. McCullough’s areas of expertise encompass research, evaluation, curricula development, program assessment, public speaking, program development, project management, grant writing and management.

Dr. Edward Sadler

Dr. Edward D. Sadler, Jr. is a native of Gaston County North Carolina. Dr. Sadler has doctorate of education and educational specialist degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. He received his master’s degree in education from UNC-Charlotte and a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Central University. Belmont Abbey College awarded, Edward Sadler, an honorary doctorate degree, May14, 2006. During his tenure, he has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction. He was named superintendent of Gaston County Schools in March 1995. His contributions to education in this community and at the state and national levels are immeasurable. His colleagues in the state chose him 2003 North Carolina State Superintendent of the Year- the most coveted award bestowed a superintendent. He was elected by the superintendents in North Carolina to represent his peers to a three-year term on the national Governance Board of the American Association of Schools Administrators 2005-08. In 2004 the Governor of North Carolina name Ed Sadler to the esteemed State Board of Education. Most recently, he was chosen as one of the 17 superintendents in the United States to receive the American Association of School Administrators 2005 National President’s Technology Award for exceptional vision and leadership in educational technology.

Constantly striving to improve our schools, Ed Sadler is exceeding proud of the accomplishment our students and staff have made over the past years. Under his visionary leadership higher standards and expectations have let to record-high student achievement at all grade levels in Gaston County Schools. The number of students proficient in reading and math improved significantly. More Gaston County public school students are above or at grade level than at any other time in the school system’s history. Therefore the newly opened school in 2004 was named in his honor, Edward D. Sadler Elementary School. A man of strong character and impeccable integrity, Edward D. Sadler has made a difference in the lives of thousands of children in this community.

Ms. Joanne Coombs, a native of Newfoundland, Canada, brings years of educational experience and knowledge to DBC, and has inspired us to broaden the team’s vision.   As an international trainer, educator, and published author, she has received, and continues to receive numerous accolades, awards, and recognition in the fields of Science, Technology, Physiology, and Biology.    Her educational background includes: B.SC (Biology major); B.Ed. (Intermediate and Secondary Education); B.A. (English major, Psychology minor) – from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada; and a M.Ed. Secondary Science (Biology) from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a member of the Dream Team, she has assisted countless individuals and organizations in understanding the value of education, goal setting, and life.
